Foram anunciados, hoje (12), os vencedores do Emmy 2022. Em sua 74ª edição, este é o prêmio mais tradicional da televisão estadunidense, entregue por sua academia aos programas que se destacaram na temporada 2021-2022.
Succession e Ted Lasso, que já haviam sido os dois programas com maior número de indicações em suas categorias, drama e comédia, respectivamente, foram os destaques da noite. A surpresa veio com a série coreana da Netflix Round 6 levando os prêmios de melhor direção, para Hwang Dong-hyuk, e melhor ator, para Lee Jung-jae, em série dramática.
Entre as minisséries, o destaque ficou para a HBO com sua produção The White Lotus, que entre os prêmios nas categorias de série limitada, antologia ou filme para TV, levou os de melhor direção e roteiro e o prêmio principal.
